My brother and sister-in-love had their baby girl in January.
She was 9 weeks premature.
Cy was born in March.
Alexandra was due in March.
Technically, they are the same age.
or
Technically, she's older.
but no matter how you look at it...
Cy is bigger.
It's fun to have cousins the same-ish age.
Even if my kids tower over their cousins of the same age. {grin}
Pie is 6 weeks younger than my sister's oldest (she just had another 3 weeks ago) and Pie is definitely bigger. Her cousin was a surviving twin so she didn't have as much room to grow. Now that they're a little older they LOVE having someone so close in age to play with!

Hi Sara! It's interesting to read that your niece is still small...I thought my niece would catch up" at some point, but maybe not!

My sister and I have the same pediatrician and he thinks they will eventually settle out, my niece is just still trying to catch up from having less room. Plus Pie's bios are both pretty tall and my brother in law...not so much :)
ReplyDeleteSara, that's so interesting! Rio's bio mom has a brother who is 7ft tall but Cy's birth family is pretty average in height. We'll see! lol
